Since my success in the garden yesterday with Travis I decided to give the girls their opportunity for freedom today. Maud and Loretta bounced around the garden in gleeful exploration, then plopped themselves in the shade of some greens and helped themselves to the buffet.
Lily stayed to herself for the most part and didn’t get as hot as the other two darker girls.
She sure is cute with her half-flopped ears.
I think this will become a daily thing for the bunnies since they enjoy it so much and it’s got to be healthier than being locked up in a hutch all day. And besides, they’re adorable when they’re out there. :)

Love the pictures - especially how you seem to have crouched down to get on their level. Pictures become so much more interesting that way!

Sylvia - Thanks! I'm trying to improve my photography skills slowly but surely. :)
Lena - Zeus and Cody are usually the only ones allowed outside when the bunnies are loose. Zeus thinks they are fun to watch, while Cody thinks sleeping is the only activity worth doing. But I have one chicken who is fascinated by the bunnies and will follow them around outside the fence.
So so cute! They are only cute when they are other people's pets and that they are not in my garden eating my veggies. :)
The other dogs must be thinking:"When and if we get out there, we are going to eat those bunnies up so fast, mom won't even know what happened."
