We've got one more bed to build and fill and Glenn plans on making that one huge. The one in the foreground was just filled and planted yesterday with lettuce, a few herbs, and pineapple sage and monarda for the hummingbirds. Corn and cukes will be sown in there soon.

The "sacrificial" Brandywine tomato plant that was put out way too soon not only survived, but is thriving. Maybe one of these flowers will be the illusive 5 pounder of my dreams?
Our new "pet". He's here every day, several times a day, to fish. Sorry for the picture quality, he's a little camera shy and I had to take this one at dusk through the kitchen window screen.
