Some things never change

People still think breeding horses is the way to make a bunch of money.

Those same people don’t see much point in feeding, handling, or caring in any way for all of those horses.

West Virginia laws are still woefully inadequate.  Only 8 counts of cruelty when 70 horses are starving?  You’re kidding, right??  Let’s hope that number increases as they are able to catch and evaluate more horses.

It still, and always will, piss me off to see news stories like this.

I doubt Hampshire county has a way to feed and care for all of these horses, so like many other WV counties, most of these horses will probably be up for auction once they are all caught and evaluated.  Which means anyone, even kill buyers, can buy them.  Peachy.

WV laws need to change. People get a slap on the wrist for these hideous crimes.
